Ceylon Road Residential. Singapore

This project features a series of mini interventions to refurbish the house at Ceylon Rd, where we had to work with some existing finishes. They all came together consistently in the overall scheme of timber hues and concealed lighting.

Solid timber oak strips are used extensively in this living space, as its tactile appearance helps to blend the new and the old together, at the same time looks neutral enough against existing elements like the floor tiles.

Concealed lighting is used to draw attention to the new features, where the concept is to use indirect light sources to create a soft and comfortable environment for the owner and their guests.
